General Statement of Job Function
The Administrative Assistant provides part-time administrative and project-based support to the Director of the Soul Care Initiative. This role supports office administration, SCI program administration, SCI program alumni engagement, and event coordination. The ideal candidate is poised, highly organized, collaborative, and excited to serve the pastoral leaders of Colorado’s front range through caring, restful spiritual formation. The work of the SCI is driven by core values of Christ-centered hospitality, enjoyment, transformation, excellence and abundance.
This is a part time position. Approximately 5-10 hours per week.
Essential Functions
- Performs a variety of administrative duties including document printing, proofreading, organizing, researching, and reporting.
- Processes reimbursement requests and vendor payments as needed in a timely manner.
- Assists in the tracking of the Soul Care Initiative budget.
- Maintains and updates internal SharePoint sites.
- Contributes to Praxis alumni engagement strategies and initiatives.
- Assists with collecting and compiling program stories and data for marketing and reporting purposes.
- Supports the planning and execution of events such as seasonal retreats, monthly Praxis gatherings, Praxis alumni gatherings, and soul care offerings for DenSem students and staff.
- Provides logistical support for event setup, vendor coordination, and post-event follow-up.
Education/Training
- High school diploma required; college-level coursework preferred.
- Previous experience in administrative support and/or program coordination is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- A committed personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with Denver Seminary’s statement of faith and values.

Typical Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Normal office working conditions including computer usage may require occasional standing, walking, long periods of sitting, climbing stairs, balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
