General Statement of Job Function

The Administrative Director, Hispanic Church Liaison, supports the execution of the vision and strategy for the second phase of the Young Adult Initiative (YAI). This position works closely with the Creative Director and other Administrative Directors to conduct research, create educational experiences and materials, and promote the Young Adult Initiative’s work to help congregations attract, disciple, retain, and mobilize young adult ministers.

This is a 20 hour a week part-time position. Temporary to 12/31/2026

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and other Administrative Directors to determine initiative priorities, scope, and direction. Collaborate to execute and administer those priorities, ensuring goals are met.
  • Track expenditures, such as travel and programmatic activities.
  • In collaboration with the Creative Director and other Administrative Directors, design and conduct sound research. This role will develop relationships with and conduct research within US-based Hispanic churches.
  • Design and produce educational content. This may include, but is not limited to, podcasts, blog posts, social media presence, and webinars.
  • Create and execute a YAI Confluence event.
  • Based on the research findings, produce a playbook that congregations can use to better attract, disciple, retain, and mobilize young adults and young adult ministers.

Education/Experience

REQUIRED

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with administrative oversight and support
  • Strong team and management skills
  • Business interpersonal skills; emotional intelligence skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent time and project management skills

STRONGLY PREFERRED

  • Experience working with young adults and/or young adult ministers
  • Experience conducting sound research.

Typical Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Normal office working conditions, including computer usage, may require occasional standing, walking, long periods of sitting, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
