About the Forum

Church, ministry, and seminary leaders from across
Colorado are invited to gather at Denver Seminary for
a two-day forum on Public Reading of Scripture (PRS)
and Just Show Up (JSU) Book Club.
With a practical focus on incorporating PRS into church
worship services, participants will experience PRS
firsthand, hear from pastors and seminary leaders,
and consider approaches they can adapt for their own
congregations, ministries, and educational settings.

What to Expect

• Two PRS worship service experiences
• Extended periods of communal Scripture listening
• Teaching and practical discussion on using PRS in church worship
• Eugene Peterson Just Show Up (JSU) Book Club on Listening
