Soul Care Initiative Lent Retreat – Ft. Collins, CO
Lent Retreat for Faith Leaders, Pastors and Leaders of faith
Lent is fast approaching. This beautiful season in the church year invites us to the wilderness where we find space to recover who God has always known us as – uniquely and wholly Beloved. The space asks us what we need to leave behind, or what we might begin, in order to make room for new life we will encounter come Easter. It’s not time for that yet, though. In Lent, we might find ourselves hungry as Christ in the wilderness, or weary as the Israelites on their long trek in circles. These pangs and tired legs are somehow holy reminders that God has led us here. They are also opportunities to ask, “What’s this all about?”
Every year, we offer a lent retreat for you as a leader to enter into the season. It is an opportunity for you to engage in rest & receptivity. With the Lenten season beginning in early February this year, we’re hosting the retreats a little later. We will gather towards the middle of the season and notice together what this wild space is like, and where we sense it is taking us.
