General Statement of Job Function
Responsible for assisting with audio/video in the Chapel, during events, on an as-needed basis. This may include:
- Participating in Chapel AV training with the Seminary’s AV Producer to learn equipment and software
- Providing secondary AV event support with Seminary’s AV Producer
- Assisting with AV for events when AV Producer is unavailable
- Recording Chapel events via Zoom
Typical Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking are part of this job. There may be occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, stooping, bending. Because of the nature of the job, corrected vision and good hearing are necessary. The majority of the work is performed inside an enclosed work area. Flexibility in scheduling is also necessary.
Education/Training/Skills
Some experience supporting AV at events; willingness to learn the Seminary’s chapel equipment; a strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to change quickly.
Qualifications
Student at Denver Seminary with prior experience that has helped to develop the skills listed above.
Outcomes
Successful events, as related to AV in the Chapel.
The hours for this position vary, as Chapel Assistants are hired on an as-needed basis.
