Chi Sigma Iota Membership

Chi Sigma Iota (CSI) is an international honor society that values academic and professional excellence in counseling. They promote a strong professional identity through members (professional counselors, counselor educators, and students) who contribute to the realization of a healthy society by fostering wellness and human dignity.

In keeping with international CSI requirements at least one the following criteria must be met in order to receive an invitation for membership into Denver Seminary’s Delta Sigma Lambda chapter of CSI:

  • Currently enrolled Denver Seminary Clinical Mental Health students who have completed at least 9 credits and maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Denver Seminary Masters in Counseling Alumni (including Community Counseling or Clinical Mental Health Counseling) with final GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Graduates of other CACREP accredited programs (MA or PhD) with a final GPA of 3.5 or higher

Upon receiving an invitation, students must first register with CSI and then submit $20 in chapter dues to Denver Seminary. Please contact the current chapter officers or Chapter Faculty Advisor with any questions.
