Briana Ellerbe, PhD

Black Church Liaison, Young Adult Initiative

Briana Ellerbe is an Administrative Director and Black Church Liaison for The Intersection. She is passionate about research with youth and families, we well as the thoughtful creation of content for children and their families. She has worked as a researcher and consultant for companies like Google, and has done production research on shows such as PBS Kids’ Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and SuperWhy, and Wishenpoof. Previously, she served as Research Manager at Sesame Workshop. Briana received her Ph.D. in Communication from University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. She received an Ed.M. from Harvard Graduate School of Education and her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. Beyond professional work, Briana spends most of her time with her husband and homeschooling their three children.
