Barnabas studied for his MDiv at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he also earned his PhD in preaching. He served as a missionary with Operation Mobilization for 3 years in North Africa and Israel. Preaching is his passion and he has been preaching for more than 30 years. Currently, he is the senior pastor of the Korean Church of Queens in New York, where he lives with his wife, Lydia Kim-van Daalen, who grew up in the Netherlands, and their four children, ages 9-16.
