Nathan Scherrer, MA

Assistant Professor of Training and Mentoring

Nathan Scherrer has served students in the Training and Mentoring Curriculum since 2017. He has earned degrees from Colorado Christian University (BA) and Denver Seminary (MA) as well as certifications from the National Outdoor Leadership Institute and Jerusalem University College. His professional experience includes over 12 years in multi-national Leadership Development programs. Nathan specializes in experiential education as applied in challenge-based andragogy to enhance the spiritual development of his students.

He and his wife, Lindsey, consider themselves “table-centric” in their views of ministry, which often results in filling their home and dinner table with others in the hope to extend true welcome and to cultivate dignity and peace in their community. Along with their twin boys, they are a family of adventurers who frequent the mountains of Colorado and canyons of Utah whether strapped in boots or floating on paddleboards.
