Doctor of Ministry Audit

Audit a Doctor of Ministry class and learn from the experts in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains.

The following seminars are open to ministry leaders, who may audit for a nominal fee.

All seminars will be held all day Monday-Friday, January 10-14, 2022 on the Denver Seminary campus. Auditors are expected to complete course readings, attend all days of the intensive, and participate in class discussions.

Theology & Practice of Worship: Personal and Corporate

Instructor: Dr. Glenn Packiam
Dr. Packiam serves as Associate Sr. Pastor and Senior Pastor of the Downtown Campus of New Life Church in Colorado Springs, CO. He is the author most recently of Worship and the World to Come and Blessed, Broken, Given: How Your Story Becomes Sacred in the Hands of Jesus. In this class, students will develop a theology of worship and learn to apply and analyze worship practices in context.

Dynamics of Organizational Communication

Instructor: Dr. Heidi Petak
Dr. Petak is the founder of SpeakEagle Communication Strategies and serves as Women’s Ministry Director at Ascent Church in Monument, CO. This class will examine how verbal and nonverbal language communicates core values, how vision and direction are caught or missed, and legal issues pertaining to organizational communication.

Reclaiming Ecclesiology: Faithful Foundations for Effective Ministry

Instructor: Dr. Angie Ward
Dr. Ward is Assistant Director of the Doctor of Ministry program at Denver Seminary and the general editor of When the Universe Cracks: Living as God’s People in Times of Crisis. In this course, students will integrate biblical, theological, historical, and sociocultural perspectives toward a robust “lived-out” church.
