General Statement of Job Function
This work study role is a vital part of the Enrollment Team at Denver Seminary. Under the direction of the Associate Director of Enrollment Management, the individual in this Work Study role will help facilitate a smooth enrollment experience for incoming and continuing students by completing essential day-to-day tasks. Such tasks include processing incoming application materials, data entry, mailings, and other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
- Processing application materials
- Accurately inputs data into the department’s database
- Manages multiple email inboxes, forwarding emails to appropriate staff members in a timely manner
- Completes individual and mass mailings
- Assists with other data or file management projects as needed
- Provides front desk coverage as needed
Education/Training
Applicants must be a student in good standing at Denver Seminary and in a degree program. Previous experience is not required.

- Strong Written and Verbal Communication: Demonstrates proficiency in business communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Self-Motivation: Values contributions to the Enrollment team’s efforts and assumes responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Active Learning Approach: Shows initiative in asking relevant questions and learning from mistakes. Takes an active role in mastering the intricacies of the position.

Typical Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Normal office working conditions include computer usage, typing, answering phones, occasional standing, walking, long periods of sitting, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
