Brokenhood: The Art of Healing Through Community
Thursday, March 12, 2020, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
In conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Prisons and the Creative Arts Platform (CAP), seminarian-turned prison art facilitator, Justin Reddick, explores the gritty nature of redemption, grace, and reconciliation through the restorative process of his own artwork and from within a community of accompanying artists in Brokenhood: The Art of Healing Through Community.
This groundbreaking exhibit serves as an introduction into the power of prison art for the Denver Seminary community, offering a mature body of work that centers on the broken aspects of humanity, personal triumph, and the intense hope that resides between the bars of incarceration.
March 12, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Gallery opens at 6 p.m.
Enjoy our art gallery before joining us for a discussion, live painting, and auction with Justin Reddick. Light appetizers will be provided.
