Job Purpose:

Be a support to office staff. Your main support will be to the Director of Finance and the COO.

Requirements and Duties:

Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
Very good written and verbal communication skills
Highly resourceful team-player while also productive with little supervision
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
Demonstrates ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
Receive phone and internet orders and donations from viewers/partners
Knowledge of Windows and GSuite.
Event planning support (banquets, seminars)
Ongoing responsibilities (answer phones, prepare correspondences, proofread, schedule meetings, file and retrieve documents digitally
Maintain databases
Maintain and organize multiple inter-office calendars and schedules
Prepare and organize materials for events and recurring meetings
Data entry across different software platforms
Proofread publications, emails and correspondence

Skills/Qualifications:

Excellent organizational skills
Uplifting phone voice and good phone etiquette
Excellent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, and Power Point) and G-Suite. Knowledge in Adobe Acrobat and InSightly a plus.
Must learn quickly, new software or basic office procedures
Strong work tenure: experience in a church or non-profit organization is a plus
Associates degree preferred, Bachelor’s degree is a plus (comparable work experience will be considered in lieu of degree)
Basic bookkeeping and QuickBooks is a plus

Work schedule:

Monday – Friday (some weekend and/or evening events required, in person or virtual)

Five (5) hours daily 10:00am – 3:00pm (hours are mildly flexible with paid break)

30 day probationary period, 60 and 90 day review with potential for hours and salary increase.
