Worship Leader – City Life Church

Looking for worship leader(s) for various Sunday mornings and other days or evenings to work with the pastor, who is also a musician, in seamlessly integrating worship with the liturgy, homily and communion. This is a great opportunity to serve and to develop a unique worship service of contemplation.

The worship leader’s preferred style of music and church membership/denominational background is not a primary consideration. Instead, he or she need only have a faith in Christ and do his or her best to be like him. Hospitality and a warm welcoming attitude is essential to effectively fulfilling the position. Confidence in picking songs and leading the congregation in singing and either as a solo or artist or accompanied is also a must and any additional instrument he or she plays, a plus.

At $100-125 per event, compensation is based on experience and very competitive for the 2.5 – 3hr. scope of work of each event. Venue is in the Curtis Park area of Sacramento, CA. The position is poised to grow into bi-vocational half or perhaps even a full-time role.
