General Statement of Job Function
The KGC Work Study assists with the general administrative tasks of KGC and maintenance of KGC records, supports KGC staff, and provides customer service to students, faculty and staff as needed.
This is a part-time, non-exempt student position limited to a maximum of 10 hours per week during the academic semester. Applicants must be currently enrolled at Denver Seminary, in good academic standing, and authorized to work in the United States.
Essential Functions
- Provides general support and assistance to KGC staff
- Translates course materials and official documents into Korean
- Maintains and organizes KGC records and documents as assigned
- Processes koreanglobalcampus@denverseminary.edu email inbox as assigned
- Assists with planning and implementing of both online and in-person KGC events
- Provides administrative support to the KGC Office and contributes to various projects as they arise.
- Maintains confidentiality of student and institutional records in accordance with FERPA and institutional policies
Education/Training
Excellent written and verbal customer service skills are required. Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and web proficiency is required. Individual needs to be a self-starter, self-directed, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task. Strong administrative, organizational, and professional aptitude is required as well as being team-oriented and flexible.
Fluency in Korean (written and verbal) is required to perform translation duties effectively.

- Committed personal relationship with Jesus Christ required and a lifestyle consistent with the Seminary’s Community Values and Behavioral Commitments.
- Agreement with Denver Seminary’s statement of faith.

Typical Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Normal office working conditions including computer usage may require occasional standing, walking, long periods of sitting, climb stairs, balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
