General Statement of Job Function
This work study role is a vital part of the People and Culture Team at Denver Seminary. Under the direction of the VP of People & Culture, the individual in this Work Study role will help by completing essential day-to-day tasks. Such tasks include updating files, reviews policies, assists with benefits preparation and other tasks as assigned.
This is a part time position that offers approximately 8-12 hours a week.
Essential Functions
- Assists in formatting filing system
- Assists in reviewing policies and best practices
- Assists with benefit preparations
- Assists with other data management projects as needed
- Assists in front desk coverage as needed
- Assists in organizing job descriptions filing system
Education/Training
Applicants must be a student in good standing at Denver Seminary and in a degree program. Previous experience is not required.

- Strong Written and Verbal Communication: Demonstrates proficiency in business communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Self-Motivation: Values contributions to the Enrollment team’s efforts and assumes responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Active Learning Approach: Shows initiative in asking relevant questions and learning from mistakes. Takes an active role in mastering the intricacies of the position.

Typical Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Normal office working conditions include computer usage, typing, answering phones, occasional standing, walking, long periods of sitting, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
