Denver Seminary is pleased to partner with Theology in the Raw to offer a unique opportunity. You can earn 3hrs of seminary credit and transfer it to your current or future seminary studies, or you can take the next step and earn micro-credential certificate. Either way, you’ll gain relevant, practical subject matter expertise surrounding cultural and social issues and skill in conversation. How? By attending the Theology in the Raw Conference, engaging in Conversation in the Raw, and completing post-conference coursework. Here is how it works.
EARN SEMINARY CREDIT
- Attend the Theology in the Raw Conference on March 23rd -25th, 2023, in Boise, Idaho
- Join one of Conversations in the Raw cohorts—choose from 4 different topics.
- Apply to Denver Seminary using our Quick App and completing post-conference coursework for 3-credit-hours.
EARN A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
- In addition to above, the completion of TJA 501 Redemption and Justice in the Old and New Testaments, a 3-credit-hour course available online through Denver Seminary. This is a great way to gain theological insight, subject matter expertise, and even jump start a path to an advanced graduate degree. Further, you can add this Certificate to your resume to enhance current or future ministry opportunities.

Theology in the Raw Conference
The Theology in the Raw conference will challenge you to think like “exiles in Babylon” about race, sexuality, gender, critical race theory, hell, transgender identities, climate change, creation care, American politics, and what it means to love your democratic or republican neighbor as yourself. Different views will be presented. No question is off limits. No political party will be praised. Everyone will be challenged to think. And Jesus will be upheld as supreme.
