Diversity and Intricacy: Artist Thomas Lockhart at Denver Seminary
Meet artist Thomas Lockhart at Denver Seminary as he shares about his art and passion during an artist reception, in the Seminary’s Bridge Gallery. Lockhart’s work, including his piece Ballerinas Rest, which is on display publicly for the first time, will be shown at the Seminary through Dec. 11.

Artist Biography
Lockhart is an international selling artist from Denver, with a passion for fine art. He is a storyteller and historian, who uses his work to illustrate the stories of Black cultural, history, and beyond.
“This exhibit is about the diversity and intricacy of who we are as a people—from our artistry, dance, music, heritage, and history—bringing together a melting pot of the flavors and imagination of us,” said Lockhart.
Lockhart’s work has been shown at art festivals around the United States including A Taste of Colorado, Chicago African Arts Festival, Aspen Fine Art Show, and the National Black Fine Arts Show (New York).
