Advent Retreat for Pastors and Faith Leaders

It is easy – and fun! – to experience Advent as a countdown to Christmas day. As followers of Christ, we are also offered the invitation to experience Advent as a journey filled with an honest longing and hope. What are we, like Mary, holding on to in our heart? What is asking for our reflection in sorrow and gratitude, that we might welcome the season’s radical joy?

This half-day, guided retreat invites pastors and faith leaders to personally engage with the Advent journey before leading others into the mystery. It’s also a wonderful experience for church and parachurch staff teams to attend together.

We are again offering two opportunities to attend an Advent retreat: one at Mother Cabrini Shrine in Golden and one at Peak Community Church in Fort Collins. Your Advent journey will begin at one of the retreats and continue throughout the weeks leading up to Christmas with weekly prompts and resources for continued reflection.
