Moon Kwon Chae, PhD

Adjunct Faculty, Old Testament, Korean Global Campus

Rev. Dr. Moon Kwon Chae is adjunct faculty in Old Testament and the Korean Global Campus. He holds a PhD in Religion from Baylor University, a ThM in Old Testament/Hebrew Bible from Emory University, an MDiv from Presbyterian University and Theological Seminary in Seoul, Korea, and a BSE from Seoul National University.

Rev. Dr. Chae has taught the theological richness, diversity, and complexity of the Old Testament in both academic and church settings. An ordained pastor, he has served in various church roles, including children’s pastor, youth pastor, college pastor, young adult pastor, and associate pastor. He is deeply committed to ensuring that academic biblical studies and seminary education serve the Church’s mission.

In addition to his work at Denver Seminary, Rev. Dr. Chae also teaches at George W. Truett Theological Seminary and Baylor University’s Department of Religion. He serves as a teaching pastor at the Korean Church of Waco in Waco, Texas.
