Dr. Bradley J. Widstrom joined the faculty of Denver Seminary in 1999. Since then his job has morphed many times. He currently teaches courses on Christian education, teaching, and pastoral practice. As well, he directs the Counseling Division’s Personal Formation Program and the Christian Studies degree, and chairs the MA in Pastoral Care degree.
Dr. Widstrom received an EdD from the Rutgers University Graduate School of Education, an MRE from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a BA from Trinity College. He is ordained in the Evangelical Free Church of America and has served on the ministerial staff of churches in Illinois and Washington. He has also been involved in public school education in New Jersey and Washington teaching language arts, social studies, and math. He is the research editor for the Journal of Youth Ministry and is on the board of Camp Idrahaje (Bailey, CO). He is also involved in multiple volunteer roles at Columbine High School (Littleton, CO).
