In a culture that is deeply concerned about environmental issues, what role should evangelicals have when it comes to creation care? Why should we care for creation, and why should we talk about creation care? How can we use Scripture to address creation care? And how can we thoughtfully consider and address Bible passages that suggest the earth will burn up and be destroyed? Join us as Dr. Douglas Moo, the author of Creation Care: A Biblical Theology of the Natural World (with Jonathan Moo: Zondervan, 2018) and professor of Biblical Studies at Wheaton College, explores this challenging topic.

Q Commons Event to Inspire Conversations to Create a Better Future
Join community members in this discussion at Denver Seminary, Oct. 24

Littleton, Colo. – On October 24, from 7 p.m. -9 p.m. leaders from across Denver will gather at Denver Seminary for Q Commons, a uniquely local and national event designed to equip participants to thoughtfully engage their communities.

The evening will include talks about the issues most relevant to the Denver community from local presenters including Jeff Rosenau, founder and president of Christlike Dialogue; Sarah Springer, leadership and life coach; and Darius Wise, lead pastor of Denver United and Denver Seminary alumnus. In addition, there will be livestream talks from:

  • Journalist and best-selling author Malcolm Gladwell, who will help attendees understand how to create a better future in their communities.
  • Pastor and author Francis Chan, who will inspire participants to create a better future by building true community.
  • Author Rebekah Lyons, who will equip participants with four life-giving rhythms that lead to improved mental health and a better future for their own lives.

In a divided world where there are plenty of problems to solve, what does it look like to offer hope? At Q Commons participants will go beyond merely listening, and take the time for intentional discussion with those gathered to imagine how to advance good in Denver and local communities.

Register at qcommons.com/Denver. Tickets are $25 for general registration and $15 for students. Denver Seminary is located at 6399 South Santa Fe Drive, Littleton, Colo., 80120.
