Dr. Mark Husbands to Speak at Colorado State Capitol during Colorado’s 2025 Religious Freedom Day Ceremony on April 10

Littleton, Colo. — Denver Seminary President Dr. Mark Husbands will be among the distinguished speakers at Colorado Religious Freedom Day, taking place on Thursday, April 10, at 11 a.m., in the South Wing of the Colorado State Capitol.
This annual event brings together faith communities, civic leaders, and the public to celebrate the constitutional freedom to worship. To honor this year’s theme, “The Value of Faith in Our Community,” Dr. Husbands will address faith as the foundation of thriving communities.
“Faith calls us to justice, to compassion, and to a vision of human dignity that advances the common good,” says Husbands, a passionate advocate for the intersection of faith and public life. “Colorado Religious Freedom Day is a wonderful opportunity to affirm our shared commitment to religious liberty and to celebrate the way faith moves us to care for the flourishing and well-being of all.”
Governor Jared Polis will join the esteemed lineup of event speakers, including Greg Schaller, director of the Centennial Institute at Colorado Christian University; Dr. Rosmarie Allen, president and CEO of the Institute of Racial Equity & Excellence; and Colorado State Attorney General Phil Weiser.
Colorado Religious Freedom Day is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend. For more information, visit ColoradoReligiousFreedomDay.org.
